PRIVACY NOTICE

Octavio Hernández García, operating under the trade name “Cofradía Studio” (hereinafter, “we” or the “Data Controller”), domiciled in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, “LFPDPPP”) and its Regulations.

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Through our contact form at cofradiastudio.com, we collect the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Type of project of interest
  • Approximate budget
  • Desired delivery date
  • Message / project details

We do not collect sensitive personal data (as defined in Article 3, Section VI of the LFPDPPP).

Additionally, through web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) we automatically collect information about your browsing on the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site, for statistical purposes and to improve the site.

2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Your personal data will be used for the following purposes, necessary for the service you are requesting:

  • Respond to your quote or information request
  • Evaluate the scope of your project and prepare a proposal
  • Follow up on and, where applicable, provide the motion design, animation, and video production services you contract
  • Communicate with you by email, phone, or WhatsApp regarding your request

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or other commercial prospecting purposes beyond those stated, unless you expressly authorize it through another means.

3. TRANSFER AND USE OF THIRD PARTIES

To operate our site and follow up on your requests, we share certain data with the following providers, who act as data processors:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics, for site usage statistics; and Gmail/Google Workspace, for managing our email)
  • Calendly, Inc. (if you choose to schedule a call through the corresponding link, your scheduling data is processed directly by Calendly under its own privacy policy)
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp/Meta’s privacy policies)
  • Our hosting provider, for the technical hosting of the website

These third parties may be located outside of Mexico. By providing us with your data, you consent to this transfer, which is necessary for the legal relationship between you and the Data Controller.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

4. ARCO RIGHTS

You have the right to access, rectify, and cancel your personal data, as well as to object to its processing or revoke any consent you have given for such purposes (ARCO rights, per their Spanish acronym: Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación, Oposición).

Your request should include: (a) your name and contact details, (b) documents proving your identity, (c) a clear description of the personal data for which you are seeking to exercise any of the ARCO rights, and (d) any other information that helps us locate your data.

We will respond to your request within the timeframes established by the LFPDPPP.

5. USE OF COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies (including Google Analytics) to improve your browsing experience and analyze site usage. You may disable the use of cookies through your browser settings, although this may affect some site functionality.

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Notice at any time. Any changes will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update. We recommend reviewing this notice periodically.
